"This is my second time as Ambassador for Vision Australia's Carols by Candlelight and I am absolutely thrilled to be able to be part of and contribute to such a worthy cause on the most magical night of the year - Christmas Eve.

It gives me great satisfaction to be associated with such an iconic event, knowing that the event raises awareness and funds for children who are blind or have low vision.

Vision Australia's Carols by Candlelight is the perfect way to round off the year and enjoy the celebrations and performances by some of the best talent we have in the country. I am humbled to work alongside of these performers and it is inspiring to see all of the volunteers, performers and the Nine Network pull together and raise money for children who are blind or have low vision.

So please show your support for what has become an Australia institution - Vision Australia's Carols by Candlelight. I would like to wish you all a merry Christmas and a peaceful new year."
